We don't want
your data.
Most software companies treat your personal information as a commodity. We treat it as none of our business. Here is our privacy policy in plain English.
No Cloud Uploads
Your files, documents, and queries never leave your machine. We don't have a "central server" where your data is processed. Everything stays offline, exactly where it belongs.
No Tracking Scripts
We don't use cookies, pixels, or trackers to watch how you use the app. We don't build behavior profiles. We believe the best way to protect your privacy is to not collect anything at all.
Local Indexing
The AI "brain" (semantic embeddings) is built and stored entirely on your localhost. Even the metadata used to find your folders is encrypted at rest using your system's native keychain.
Our Commitment
LocalDeepen was built because we were tired of "smart" assistants that required giving up our personal lives to a cloud provider. Our business model is simple: we sell great software, not user data.
We will never sell your information to third parties. We literally can't, because we don't have it.
Our source code for data handling is open-core, so you can verify these claims yourself.
